Moira Clark has a BA in Fine Art from York University. Her prints and paintings have been exhibited across Canada in public galleries such as the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Burnaby Art Gallery, the Albright- Knox Gallery in Buffalo and her work is in many corporate collections. Her paintings in acrylics and oil have evolved over twenty-five years from representational observations of still life and architecture to her now abstract works. Moira has exhibited in Toronto art galleries since 1977 and was a founding member of the artist-run gallery, Loop, in 2000. She has taught printmaking and painting since 1979 at Open Studio, AGO and Toronto School of Art and currently, she teaches painting in the Art & Art History Program at Sheridan College/UTM.
