Keita Morimoto

Keita Morimoto is a painter who studied at Ontario College of Art and Design while having more intensive training from artists such as David Leffel and Joshua LaRock. He has exhibited his work in several group shows around Toronto, Tokyo, San Francisco, Portland, and Los Angeles, as well as participated in a number of charity auction events to raise money for Japan relief after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. In 2011, Keita won a painting competition organized by Paul Butler at the Art Gallery of Ontario during Scotiabank Nuit Blanche and as a result will have a solo exhibition at MOCCA.
