Eva Ormut has a B.F.A. from York University specializing in sculpture. She maintained a clay sculpture studio, showing her work in various Toronto and North American galleries and art shows. After a number of years she switched her focus to animation, gaining a Certificate of Digital Animation from Centennial College in Toronto. Eva is currently teaching students the joys of stop motion animation throughout the public and private school system. She is an Artist in Residence in the York District School Board as well as an Ontario Arts Council Grant recipient and Juror. Recently, four of her stop motion animation groups became finalists at Sprockets, part of the International Children's Film Festival.
