In this beginner/intermediate course, students will learn to confidently use their digital cameras to capture artistic and compelling photographic images. Students will be introduced to basic photographic techniques such as framing and composition while learning to use their camera's semi-automatic and manual controls. In-class slide lectures and weekly assignments will be accompanied by practical demonstrations and occasional field trips in which students will learn to practically employ the techniques and concepts covered in class. All levels of experience in this class are welcome.

Please note: Students are required to provide their own digital camera capable of full manual control (DSLRs are preferred).
