Audition Preparation WorkshopGrades 6-10 Tuesday, December 13, 7:00-9:00 pm This workshop is perfect for those auditioning for entry into an arts school or those who are interested in approaching an agent or auditioning for a specific show. The art of the audition is a skill that benefits from special coaching. There are many techniques and tips that any performer, from amateur to pro, can easily use to not only improve the audition but can carry into one’s ability as a performer. Once you craft your audition, you can focus on the work you are presenting, not on the nerves and doubt that surround your audition. For those given an audition package with specific monologues we will not only work on crafting them, but we will also address the other audition elements including the interview and the improvisational portion. This limited space workshop will give you one on one invaluable attention, allowing you to craft your monologue as well as your overall presentation and maximizing your audition potential.
Holiday OrnamentsGrades 2-6 with an adult Saturday, December 3, 1:30-3:00 pm Children and their adults will make their own unique and creative holiday ornaments as special keepsakes or to give as gifts! Students will learn how to make three different artistic ornaments using specialty papers, unique finds, interesting beads and many materials from the artist's studio. All materials are included. Just come and enjoy!

Jewelry MakingGrades 4-8 Saturday, December 10, 1:30-3:30 PM Join us for an afternoon of jewelry making. Students will be introduced to some hands-on jewelry making techniques and have the opportunity to choose from and personalize several fun and unique projects. All materials will be supplied, including some unique finds.

Ornaments & Holiday Cards3-5 years with an adult Saturday, December 3, 9:30-10:30 am After sharing a seasonal picture book and some fun activities, young artists will get imaginative and playful creating ornaments and cards inspired by the story read in the studio. Child-friendly and innovative materials are supplied and parents or caregivers are encouraged to participate.
123 Winter Painting PanelAdults 15+ Sunday, December 4, 1:00-4:00 pm You can create a winter-inspired painting in just 1-2-3! Participants will work with acrylic paint to create a unique and contemporary painted wooden panel. Focus will be placed on learning to innovatively work with a limited colour palette, composition, perspective and paint handling. With plenty of guidance and individual attention, students will paint their winter-inspired scenes from photo references and their own imaginations. All materials will be provided.
Creating a Family PaintingGrades 4 and up with at least one adult Sunday, November 27, 1:00-4:00 pm Families are invited to create a collaborative and unique piece of art that will be treasured for years to come. Each family (maximum 4 individuals) will work on one collaborative piece on stretched canvas. Students will paint using acrylic paint and inspiration will be taken from a family memory. Students are invited to bring a photo reference or special writings, stories or poems to incorporate in the painting. Each family's artwork will be unique and representative of their imaginative and creative joint expression.

Students will have a great time stamping, printmaking, embossing, and embellishing to create all kinds of holiday cards, tags and wrapping paper to bring a special touch to the holiday season! All materials are provided.

Ceramic OrnamentsGrades 3 and up Saturday, November 19 & 26, 3:30-5:00 pm Make your own ceramic holiday ornaments for you or for a special gift. Here's your chance to create unique and one of a kind family heirlooms. Students will receive an overview of the ceramic process and then get individualized assistance to create wonderful holiday ornaments of their own. All materials and tools are supplied. This workshop is a perfect class to share with your sibling, a parent, your grandchild or a special friend.
Decorating Holiday Gift Bags & Reusable BagsGrades 1-4 Saturday, December 17, 9:00-10:30 am Get creative with your gift bags this holiday season! We'll provide a slew of interesting and unique materials – all you have to do is bring your imagination. Students will create a holiday-inspired reusable bag and some holiday gift bags and have a great time painting, rubber stamping, printmaking and embellishing to bring a special touch to the holiday season! All materials are provided.
Holiday Gingerbread HousesAges 8 to 88 Saturday, December 17, 1:30-3:30 pm Unleash your creative side in this sweet and delicious artistic twist to the classic gingerbread house. Students will decorate their very own gingerbread houses using unique and edible materials. Each student will receive a pre-assembled house, royal icing, cookies, crackers, pretzels and many interesting and uniquely shaped candies. All you have to do is bring your imagination and unique design ideas to this special workshop. All gingerbread houses will be wrapped in cellophane, ready for you to take home to display! This is a great project to do with a parent, grandparent, aunt, sibling or on your own (maximum two people working per house). Please be advised that we cannot guarantee that all products used in the workshop will be allergy-free.
