We will pick up children from Brown Junior Public School at 3:00pm (participants are picked up from the School office) or parents/caregivers with children at other schools can drop-off early. Kids in our club program will enjoy a snack, organized games and activities, and they will also work on an art project that explores different materials each week. For kids staying to enjoy another after school program, we ensure that they get to their 4:30pm Arts School class! Otherwise, children can be picked up at the Arts School at 4:30pm.

Improvisation & Audition Workshop
with Allison Beula
This workshop is perfect for those planning to eventually audition for entry into an arts high school or those who are interested in approaching an agent or auditioning for a school show. The art of the audition is a skill that benefits from special coaching. There are many techniques and tips that any performer, from amateur to pro, can easily use to both improve the audition and become a more confident performer or public speaker. Once you craft your audition, you can focus on the work you are presenting, not on the nerves and doubt that surround your presentation. The class will also address other audition elements, including the interview and the improvisational portion, allowing you to not only craft your monologue but your overall presentation as well.

This class will combine songs, puppets, rhymes, games, finger play, role play and creative movement activities that allow children to develop their imaginations. Rhythm instruments such as sticks, bells, shakers and drums are used so that children develop their natural responsiveness to rhythm, beat, melody and tone and puppets, costume pieces and props help to enforce the creative exploration. Parents and caregivers participate while acquiring a delightful repertoire of poems, songs, activities and games.
