Using improvisation, drama exercises, vocal and movement studies and script work, young performers will learn how to perform specifically for musical theatre. Shows will be shorter versions of well-known musicals or will be musical theatre revues based on a custom selected repertoire from major Broadway shows.

Glee Vocal Workshop
Sharron McLeod
The Glee Vocal Workshop is for anyone who loves to sing, even those who may be too afraid or shy to do so. Glee creates a safe and nurturing space where kids can sing and find their "own" voice or vocal expression. The only prerequisite is the desire to sing! Participants will discover new skills they never thought they had, through breath and bodywork. The workshop also offers students an opportunity to perform as a lead and in harmony with others, followed with a recital for family and friends.

Beula
This workshop is perfect for those planning to eventually audition for entry into an arts school or those who are interested in approaching an agent or auditioning for a school show. The art of the audition is a skill that benefits from special coaching. There are many techniques and tips that any performer, from amateur to pro, can easily use to not only improve the audition but can carry into one's ability as a performer or even into one's confidence as a public speaker. Once you craft your audition, you can focus on the work you are presenting, not on the nerves and doubt that surround your presentation. We will also address other audition elements including the interview and the improvisational portion. This limited space workshop will give you one on one invaluable attention, allowing you to craft your monologue as well as your overall presentation.
