David Straus

This is a class for students who are serious about learning the skills required to perform in theatre and have a desire to be part of a theatre company. From improvisation, scene and monologue work, to voice and movement for the actor, as well as character development and explorations of European physical theatre styles, young actors will develop both their unique voice, as well as the ability to create in an ensemble setting. Designed in a professional, company setting, this year-long program will allow the cast to work on two productions at a professional theatre venue. Students may choose to register for the full year and participate in both shows or registration will also be accepted for one production alone. Students must audition if new to the program.

"Having the confidence to perform and present, as well as the ability to adapt to whatever comes your way, is what life is really about. I’m so glad that my son can be a part of this great theatre program. He can take the skills he is learning into many aspects of his life!"
