The Preschool Arts Programs provide children with a solid foundation for future creative and academic challenges, while offering a safe and nurturing environment where children's curiosities and imaginations are celebrated. Age-appropriate art projects and drama and musical activities help preschoolers learn skills and build self-confidence, while supporting their successful transitions into formal school environments. Independent learning, as well as group activities help to encourage and develop each child's self-awareness, self-esteem, problem solving abilities, social interaction and fine motor skills. Programs also provide an approach that encourages preschoolers to use their unique voices and ideas to communicate and broaden their understanding of the world around them. Through theme-based learning, children are exposed to engaging themes from science, the environment, history and literature, while developing their artistic skills through art, drama or music. Small class sizes with two teachers per class ensure the best environment for your child.

Self-esteem and confidence will begin to soar! Young artists will be introduced to drama, performance, story-telling and creative movement while they incorporate works of art that they create. Costumes, puppets, masks, musical instruments and various props will be created by the children themselves and then used in developing imaginative and unique stories and characters.

Music and drama offers young children a way of naturally expressing themselves, developing social skills and enhancing their love of imagination and play. This class will combine songs, puppets, rhymes, games, finger play, role play and creative movement activities that allow children to develop their imaginations. Rhythm instruments such as sticks, bells, shakers and drums are used so that children develop their natural responsiveness to rhythm, beat, melody and tone and puppets, costume pieces and props help to enforce the creative exploration. Parents and caregivers participate while acquiring a delightful repertoire of poems, songs, activities and games.
