Team Building and the Creative Individual

FOR ADULTS

How can companies hold on to their good people? What makes us happy in our work? More and more corporate executives want to ensure that their employees work well together and feel committed to the enterprise. That is what does this object have to do with working more enthusiastically with your colleagueswhy they are taking steps to value the individual within the group. Besides needing to find our work itself interesting and challenging, we need to feel that we are being recognized as individuals. Our unique talents, beliefs and abilities must be allowed to surface so that our colleagues can appreciate us for who we are - not just for what we are doing for the company.

The most common response we've had had to our Beyond the Box™ workshops for corporate executives is "I learned so much about my co-workers - I now see all kinds of new possibilities for how we can work together." A new respect and new trust develops in the workplace when people are allowed to be who they really are. And an easy way to find out who we are is by doing creative work. When we create we discover ourselves. When we create as a group, we discover surprising and wonderful things about each other. Most of all, our potential as a group is revealed.
