In this five-day intensive, we will focus on colour, surface and form. You will paint a simple portrait using a controlled palette, while learning how to mix colour/compose and paint in oils or water-based oils. The basic philosophy of the approach will be an amalgamation of a few different schools of thought - the Cape Cod School in the US and the Slade School in London England in the 1950’s.
