Outline

Embark on a nine-week artistic journey with our online course designed specifically for young artists. This course provides a foundational understanding of drawing and painting, designed to cultivate creativity and technical skills using easily accessible materials. Students will delve into the world of observational drawing, learning to accurately capture the world around them with a keen eye for detail and proportion. The course also covers essential aspects of colour theory, enabling students to harness the power of colour in their artwork effectively.

This creative exploration not only enhances artistic skills but also encourages critical thinking and problem-solving. Students will utilize a variety of media, including pencils, watercolours and mixed media, to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Observational Drawing Skills: Develop the ability to draw from observation with accuracy, focusing on proportions and details.
  • Understanding Colour Theory: Gain a fundamental understanding of colour theory and its application in both drawing and painting.
  • Media Exploration: Experiment with various art mediums, broadening artistic capabilities.
