This class is designed for those who would like to move beyond the automatic settings on their camera to gain creative control of their photos, as well as seasoned photographers who would like to refresh their fundamental photography skills. Each week, we’ll focus on one aspect of camera control (including aperture, shutter speed, and composition) with a slide show and a short, weekly photo assignment to be completed independently before the next class. At the beginning of each class, we will review the assignment images as a group and end each class with the introduction of the next project and assignment.
Accommodations for all skill levels are made in each assignment and projects will differ from term to term to accommodate students who would like to continue to develop their photography skills throughout the year.
