
Concentrating on the relationship between light and colour, you will paint from a photograph in your choice of oil or acrylic paint. You will learn to achieve a convincing sense of volume and depth in various expressive styles. This online class will also teach you the colour harmony of impressionist painting. This course is best suited for students with some past experience in drawing and painting.

- For Oils only: Gamblin Refined Linseed Oil (4oz), Gamblin Solvent-Free Gel (37 ml), M. Graham’s Walnut Alkyd Medium (4oz)
- For Acrylic only: Liquitex Slow-Dri Fluid Retarder, Liquitex Gloss Medium and Varnish
- Fredrix Canvas Pad, 16 x 20 inches
- Gessoed Masonite, Stretched Canvas, Canvas Panels or Oil Paper
- Disposable Palette
- Above Ground White Taklon LH Brush Set of 5 (or equivalent)*
