DRAWING & PAINTING
While experimenting with an exciting variety of the artist’s tools, media and techniques, you will learn to explore and trust your imagination and creative instincts. Working from still life, photographs and images from art history, students will be introduced to drawing and painting fundamentals and techniques. These include line, value, shape, pattern, texture, shading, highlighting, and colour perspective. Young artists will further develop their artistic skills while discovering their own personal style.
Please Note: Programs will be held at the School or off-site due to space limitations. All off-site classes will be held at the First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto, located at 175 St. Clair Avenue West. Should a class be held off-site, families will be given one week’s notice.
