For birthday bashes with an artistic flair, our birthday parties are led by professional artists and qualified art instructors. Choose from a variety of fun, theme-based art projects!

Dates & Times

Our parties are held every second Sunday of each month (excluding Summer)
Our time slots are: 10:30am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-2:30pm or 4:00-5:00pm
Our party break down is 1 hr. 15 min. for art and 15 min. for refreshments

What you Need to Know

Cost

$22 per child
$150 deposit due upon registration & balance due first business day after party.

HST will be added to all prices.

Guests

Minimum of 12, maximum of 16 children

Due to space restrictions, we do not recommend more than 16 children at a birthday party. In special circumstances and with prior administrative approval, we can accommodate more children, in which case a $50 assistant fee will be applied. In addition, the number of parents attending should be restricted to a small group. Guests’ parents are encouraged to drop off their children and are welcome to wait in our waiting room for the duration of the party.

What to bring

You supply the birthday cake and refreshments. No nut products please.
Children must come dressed appropriately, ready to make art. Smocks are not provided and children may get messy.

Refunds & Cancellations:

Participants cancelling 3 weeks prior to the birthday date will be refunded their deposit, less a $25.00 administration fee. Beyond this date all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please Note:

Please be on time, as the party will begin at the stated time. An adult will be expected to wait in the lobby for late-comers.

Visual Arts Parties

3-D Landscape

Children create a landscape scene using pastels and markers and then bring it to life by glueing various types of papers and materials onto a foam-core box. The scene is finished off with model magic insects and other small creatures. Ages: 6 and up

Banners/Flags

Create a family crest or a mythical landscape! Using oil pastels, permanent markers and tempera paints children transform a piece of fabric paper into a magical scene. Once the jewels and foamy shapes have been glued on the banner is ready to hang up on your wall or bedroom door.

Masks

Become a bird, a lion, or any magical creature from your imagination! Using a simple paper plate, pastels and tempera paint, partygoers create a mask. The project is completed with the addition of foamy shapes, jewels, feathers and decorative papers.

Mirror

Decorate your very own mirror. Paste metallic papers and tissue paper onto a foam-core frame, then finish your piece with pastels and metallic markers.

Picasso Portraits

Children assemble a self-portrait using various types of papers, fabric, pastels and foamy shapes. Once the portrait is made they will decorate a foam-core frame.

Rainstick

Create your very own instrument! Decorate your rainstick with pipe cleaners, decorative papers, pastels, metallic markers and jewels. Children will finish their project by beading a pipe cleaner handle. (*To incorporate beading children must be over 5 years old.)

Space Aliens from Mars

Children transform a simple tube into a space shuttle using pastels, tempera paint, foamy shapes and metallic papers. Kids form their alien out of model magic and bring it to life using markers and googily eyes.

Wings

Design your very own wings! Children will decorate a pre-cut set of wings with oil pastels and tempera paint. They will then embellish their creation with coloured papers, jewels and metallic markers.

Wishing Wand

Make a wish and get ready to create your wand! Children decorate a piece of bristol board with markers, foamy shapes, feathers and pieces of decorative papers. The final touch is added when children take a piece of model magic and decorate it with markers and jewels.
